Society
Family
Islam, unlike other religions is a strong advocate of marriage and it has attached great importance to the issues of marriage in its social system. There is no place for celibacy in Islam. In the Qur'an and the sayings of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a) and the pure Imams (AS), we find that marriage has been greatly encouraged.
Family in Islam
The family is the very core of society. As it declines so falls the society. As it ascends so ascends the society. From this precept, comes the importance position of the family placed by the divine religions, as well as the notion of the non-essentiality of the family claimed by deviant philosophies, because the disappearance of the family means the disappearance of a virtuous society.
