Islam has shed lights on women’s reality and equality to man in the human concepts, principles, sanctity of soul, honor and gain of afterlife rewarding. Thus, Islam has cancelled all the pre-Islamic notions of woman and at the same time maintain a balance in the protection of her dignity. In this article, we are trying to examine the status of women in Islam.
